When you decide to elope, you call all the shots. A wedding venue or banquet hall aren’t your only places to have your wedding anymore. Because you’re scaling down your guest list, you open up way more options. You can absolutely opt for a setting such as a quaint AirBnB. Your Cape Vincent elopement can be everything you dream of and more.
Vivien + Aaron opted to do just that. They wanted their celebration to include their closest friends and family and the ceremony would take place in the yard. Their children were their wedding party, and Vivien’s father walked her down the aisle. You may be inclined to believe that an elopement only takes place when you scale a mountain. An elopement isn’t always that. It doesn’t have to be that. Your elopement day can be absolutely anything you want it to be. With as many or as little traditional touches included.
Both Vivien + Aaron knew that Cape Vincent was the perfect location for their elopement because it was close to one of their favorite restaurants, the St. Lawrence Chateau. The Chateau offers some fine dining on the St. Lawrence river and is home to some of the north country’s very own St. Lawrence Spirits. The Chateau is only open part of the year, so if you plan on including them in your special day, make sure to verify that they’re open.
Enjoy these moments from Vivien + Aaron’s fall Cape Vincent Elopement.
