Booking couples with heart & Soul

When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to make your wedding day an experience where you can express yourselves freely in a stress-free, judgement-free environment.

an authentic way to say "I do"

Elopements are truly about the love story that you and your partner have created. You want your wedding celebration to be unique and completely catered to you so you can focus on each other.

time for your next adventure

Or maybe you're on the fence about it and haven't quite decided. Let me help you!

What is an elopement?
An elopement is an intentionally small, authentic wedding celebration with a greater focus on the couple. I photograph elopements with up to 10-15 people, but often times it's just me and the couple! The one thing my couples have in common is that they each want their own super intimate, super meaningful day designed their way.

Whether you're getting married on a mountain top in the ADK, standing on the shore of the Finger Lakes, or you're headed off to watch the sunset from the rooftops in the city—I'm living for it! So let's get to it and create the ultimate wedding experience together!

Ah, you've decided to elope

get married exactly how you want

let's adventure together

Imagine:

You wake up.
It's your wedding day.
But instead of feeling stressed,
You feel relaxed.
You and your forever adventure partner are eloping.
You enjoy a quiet morning together.
You get dressed in your wedding attire together.
And then you set off on an adventure.
One where you pledge yourselves to one another.
In an incredibly scenic location of your choosing.

Why elope in New York?

Be different.

With elopements on the rise, traveling west to elope appears to be the popular thing to do. Make your elopement yours. Choosing New York as your place to elope offers something different from all the elopements you see plastered all over social media.

simple logistics.

New York offers some amazing locations all within a day’s drive, and some hella talented vendors who can help bring your elopement dreams to life! With New York as my home state for the last 20 years, I’ve established a list of some bombass vendors, locations, to meet every want and need.

Diverse scenery.

You don’t have to travel outside of New York to get stunning mountains, lakeside sunsets, or after dark cityscapes—there’s something for everyone. If you want to make your wedding experience a weekend escape, let’s head off to the Finger Lakes, the Adirondacks, or NYC.

The moment I spoke to Donna I knew we’d made the right choice by reaching out--she was instantly so invested in capturing our love story and couldn’t be more pleasant to work with. Donna was an amazing resource to have. On the day of the wedding, she took so much time and care to capture each special little detail that mattered to us. My husband and I didn’t have much experience in front of a camera, but Donna made it feel so natural and comfortable for us. She caught so many authentic and genuine moments in the most beautiful and personal way.

Jaw-dropping!"

She calmed my nerves and made me feel absolutely beautiful. She moved around our ceremony and reception so smoothly that when we look back at our pictures, we can’t even remember her being around us at that time. It made me so grateful that she captured such intimate moments between my husband and I on a day where there were so many people. Thank you so much, Donna. We will cherish these pictures forever. 🖤

absolutely magical!"

Her photos are to die for, and she made the entire day perfect. Not only was Donna amazing as our photographer, but she was a life saver while I was planning the event! Donna is quirky, eclectic, funny, and so positive! She had a quick turn around and truly listened to what my husband and I wanted. 11/10 would book her again!!!

Phenomenal!"

It's your wedding day! Do. It. If you want to have your closest family and friends with you for your elopement, do it. If you want a ceremony to just yourselves and then meet up with friends and family for dinner, do it. Eloping means doing what you and your partner want. My elopement packages account for 15 or fewer guests. A lot of the time it's just me and the couple, but it doesn't have to be a "Just Us" experience if you'd like otherwise.

01. wHAT IF WE WANT TO HAVE A FEW GUESTS AT OUR ELOPEMENT?

First things first: Adventure ≠ hiking. You don’t have to hike if that’s not your thing. Some couples live for it, others not so much. And that’s perfectly okay! Not hiking doesn’t mean you can’t have an adventurous or adventure(ish) experience. There are many options for couples who may not be avid hikers, such as spending a day on the boat, going fishing, camping, taking a stroll through Cornell's Botanical Gardens, or anything else that your heart desires. Hiking or not, I’ve gotchu.

02. Do we have to hike?

This is the liberating thing: anything you want. If you need help thinking up ideas for things to do on your wedding day, I can absolutely help you with that. You are not limited to a structured schedule like you would be in a more traditional wedding setting. Think of your most ideal day together from the moment you wake up to the moment you crawl into bed at night. That could be your wedding day.

03. What will we do all day?

I am absolutely here to help you along with the planning process—whether that be for your "Just Us" elopement, 50 guest intimate wedding, or just-because adventure session. I can be as involved as much or as little of the planning as you'd like—from location scouting to wardrobe assistance and every step in between, I've gotchu.

04. Will you help us with planning?

Transparently, I'm biased. I will always say opt for more coverage time. This is because you're asking me to come along and document your experience not just a list of things that happen on your wedding day. Just because you're eloping doesn't mean you should settle for 3-4 hours of photography coverage. Because then you're only telling 3-4 hours of your entire wedding day experience together.

05. How much coverage will we need?

If you’re ready to start the booking process, drop me a line via my CONTACT FORM!! Next, I’ll send over my pricing guide based on what kind of experience you’re looking for. We also set up a time to chat as I want to get to know you, and your partner. Once we make sure we’re a good fit, and decide on which package you’d like, I will send over a contract for you to sign. After you’ve signed on the dotted line and paid the non-refundable retainer, you will be officially booked!! (The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to your wedding day. This can be broken up into smaller payments, or paid all at once—whichever is easiest for you!)

06. How does booking work?

let the adventure begin!
