If you’ve decided on an intimate wedding and you’re not sure where you’d like to have your ceremony and/or reception—I’ve gotchu. In this blog series, I’ll be talking about some of my favorite venues scattered around New York. Continuing the series, let me introduce The Lincoln Loft in Watertown, NY.
Disclaimer: These venues are observed through a photographer’s lens, so things that stand out to me, may not necessarily stand out to you!
The Lincoln Loft is located in the heart of downtown Watertown, NY.
It’s right in the Public Square with easy access to the local shoppes and businesses unique to the city. It’s found on the second floor of the The Lincoln Building, which was constructed in the late 1800’s. So if an industrial chic vibe is your calling, definitely make sure to check this venue out. The abundance of windows allows a glorious amount of natural light into the venue, and being on the second floor, you’re given some privacy from the outside world. Don’t worry, accessibility isn’t an issue with an easy to use elevator that’s large enough to accommodate those with mobility needs (a nice modern update for a building that’s over 200 years old).
The venue features a whopping 4,362 square feet of space that can easily be transformed into whatever vibe you’re thinking for your special day—from boho, to elegant, to simplistic, to maximalist; the opportunities are nearly endless. The venue also offers a smaller studio type room that is usually set up for in-home styled sessions, branding sessions, etc. that can easily be used as a wedding suite for getting ready, first look, or cocktail hour space.
