Tucked away in northern New York, the Adirondack Mountains are a beautiful and unique wilderness that sprawl over six million acres of land. With its pristine lakes, rugged peaks, and diverse wildlife, the Adirondacks enables its visitors to experience nature. So it was no wonder when C + M reached out last year about having their elopement in the ADK, and I was more than excited to be a part of the team that helped them craft their day.
Recently, they traveled up from NJ to enjoy their handcrafted elopement experience together.
They began their day by enjoying a quiet morning together at the camp they rented, Warner’s Camp. A truly remote yet within a 15 minute drive of the nearest small town cabin nestled in the Adirondacks. C + M had brought their own arbor for their ceremony and worked together in getting it set up. They did each other’s makeup, and then got dressed separately so they could enjoy a First Look.
Even their pup, Chase got dressed up for the occasion!

Their ceremony took place right on the property in a space that featured the Ausable River flowing close by. While it rained most of the morning, it stopped just before their ceremony the sun even came out in all her golden glory at times. C + M weren’t sure how to start their ceremony since they had asked me to officiate, and so they decided a quick game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” would determine who would read their vows first.
After their intimate ceremony, (where I definitely was not dry-eyed) C + M enjoyed some delicious starters from the custom menu they built with Lisa from 44 North Boutique Catering. There were even signature drinks for the two of them to enjoy. Following, we adventured around Marcy Field in Keene, NY where they had some newlywed portraits taken with Chase, enjoyed their first dance, and got to really soak in their newly minted marriage.
They then enjoyed the rest of their evening back at the camp by sealing their vows in a glass bottle filled with a bit of sand from their home state, a campfire, cuddles on the couch, and dinner.
