Downtown Syracuse Micro-Wedding

Let me start by saying that I’ve known Adam for roughly a decade, if not a little longer than a decade. He and I worked together at GameStop (yes, ya girl worked there for a hot minute!) and I’ve always enjoyed his humor and company. So when he reached out and asked if I would be willing to be his and Lauren’s wedding photographer – I literally jumped with joy. I got to meet Lauren during their engagement session last fall and I instantly loved her. I couldn’t imagine a better better-half for Adam. When the shared with me the plans for their Syracuse, NY wedding, I couldn’t be more excited.

Adam + Lauren’s wedding planning process was full of changes, but in the end it turned out to be perfect in every possible way. The location, the timing, the flowers and everything else in between couldn’t have been more perfect! Also, can we talk about the fact that Lauren MADE her veil?! She crocheted it, which took her roughly 8 months! AND the sparkle seen in the veil are Swarvoski Crystals. There were so many little details that encompassed them as a couple, but also that showed the melding of two families. Many friends and family alike came together to ensure everything was in its place for their celebration: from setting up to the reception, to tracking down a pair of scissors to remove dress tags. I was honored to bear witness as the day unfolded.

The love that these two have for one another is inspiring – and I was moved to tears several times throughout the day. Congratulations to Lauren + Adam in their union! I wish you both the best in everything that you do together and I am excited to see where this new chapter of your lives together takes you!
