During my time here in the north country, I’ve found some amazing locations that are perfect for adventure sessions and I’m always on the look out for more. This is especially true for locations around Lake Ontario as it can lend itself amazingly to adventure session portraits during sunrise or sunset.
There are so many activities you can include on your own Lake Ontario adventure session: swimming, trail walking, fishing, boating, kayaking, sitting together and watching the sunset. Not to mention the numerous beaches that line it’s shores: from Wescotts, to Southwicks, all the way down to Chimney Bluffs. Just to name a few. There are so many options! When you think you’ve seen everything that the north country has to offer, believe me when I say there’s still more.
With this warmer weather, I love, love, love being able to head over to the lake with a couple who are ridiculously in love and willing to having some fun in the water. Brittani + Korey have been together for a few years and recently became engaged, so when they said they were down for a couples session in the water, I was hella excited!
The water was still a little on the colder side, but that didn’t dissuade them from enjoying their dip and spending the evening together watching the sunset over the lake.
Interested in seeing some other adventure sessions? I’ve gotchu.
